CRM®: Case Conceptualization and Treatment of Severe Dissociative Disorders
This four-day, skills-focused training gives clinicians the advanced tools they need to confidently conceptualize and treat severe dissociative disorders. Participants will learn how to navigate complex internal systems, work effectively with layers of ego states, and apply CRM®’s specialized processes to some of the most challenging clinical presentations.
Over the course of the training, we will address the core obstacles that interfere with embodiment, safety, and therapeutic progress, ranging from internal perpetrator dynamics and entrenched avoidance strategies to suicidality, self-injury, and profound distrust of both the body and the therapy itself. Clinicians will gain concrete methods for increasing co-consciousness, strengthening internal boundaries, and layering multiple neurobiological resources to support safe, effective trauma processing.
You will also learn how to employ the creative, patient, sweet and strategically ruthless thinking required when navigating seemingly impossible clinical situations, all while maintaining your own internal stability and self-care as a therapist.
Learning occurs through a blend of didactic teaching, live demonstrations, case consultation, and interactive Q&A—ensuring you leave with real-world skills you can implement immediately with your most complex clients.
