Clinical Consultation for CRM® & Non-CRM® Practitioners

Co-creating new pathways to working with your most challenging cases

Feeling stuck, confused or adrift with some of your clients?

Through open dialogue and collaboration, Lisa Schwarz, M.Ed, can help you transform your fear, frustration and performance anxiety into feelings of clarity, joy, acceptance and curiosity when working with difficult clinical cases.

Lisa offers a compassionate view for how clinicians’ own unhealed material can create interference in attuning to their clients, and the multi-dimensional aspects of the human experience. With this insight, clinicians can have clarity around what has been unseen in the therapeutic relationship, and what has been blocking them from making effective choices in the clinical course of treatment.

Trusted Clinical Expertise Rooted in 40 Years of Practice

Lisa has been working as a therapist, teacher and healer for four decades, developing a unique perspective that combines solid neuroscience, multi-dimensional consciousness and common sense. She brings passion back into the process of healing by her intimate understanding of the internal landscape and interface between parts of self; the paradoxes inherent in separation from Self; and the knowing that one has the ability to co-create one’s reality regardless of one’s trauma history. Lisa welcomes explorations in to the difficult, shadowy realms of the human experience, and offers a keen eye for conceptualizing unchartered waters in the realms of healing. She is dedicated to empowering therapists by assisting them in re-membering their own abilities, courage and creativity.

  • “What led me to CRM and to Lisa as a consultant was ultimately the realization that the tools I had been provided in my schooling and continuing education had not prepared me for the more complex scenarios I was experiencing with clients, and I wanted to GROW as a clinician.  Immediately upon working with Lisa, it was clear she was the person in this field who was going to push me outside my comfort zone to do just that.  She encouraged me to explore things I had not initially considered and to as well as going “inside” in getting an answer and a result.  There are times her truth can be penetrating to one’s ego, but it is ALWAYS given in a compassionate way. For example, in revealing my resistance to going further into myself and into the work with my clients, she said to me, “I just invite you to look at that.  What IS that?” and then followed with “this is what I’m seeing.”  If you’re not able to handle those kindly given truths, then ask yourself, “Am I ready for truth?  Am I REALLY ready to grow, or is it easier to take offense to this kindly given truth and stay stagnant in my work seeing the same people with the same solutions that may or may not be effective?”  For me personally, I don’t expect my mentor to enable or placate me, and I am so very grateful that is not my experience. How are we to grow without some initial discomfort?  The beauty of this model is I have the ability to explore WHERE that discomfort comes from with the model and the consultation work synchronistically.  My clinical blocks can be signals of my personal blocks, one revealing the other, and one leading to clearing of the other in the same way.  There’s nothing more beautiful than that.  Here’s to real psychotherapy and personal work, the revealing of authenticity and the distilled versions of ourselves.”

  • “Lisa is an exceptional and highly skilled clinical case consultant with the ability to smoothly navigate transitions between macro-level dynamics and micro-level clinical details to identify what is really going on with even the most resistant client. She consistently identifies obstacles to healing, including hidden paradoxical belief systems, attachment patterns, and survival terrors. Lisa is an expert in identifying and treating dissociation- whether it presents as avoidant or numbing behaviors or in the form of complex, multilayered DID systems and RA/MC DID systems. Lisa is a no-nonsense consultant who has compassionately helped me identify unhealed aspects of myself that were getting in the way of being truly present and attuned to my clients. Lisa is expert at creatively applying the complex CRM conceptualization to any case and has deepened my understanding of how to work from within the model without being attached to rigid protocol. Consultations with Lisa have profoundly changed the way I think about therapy and healing, and have allowed me to be a much more effective and confident therapist.”

  • “Lisa Schwarz has profoundly shaped who I am as a therapist. Her presence is steady, insightful, and deeply supportive. In both case consultations and intensive therapeutic work, she brings a depth of wisdom and attunement that has transformed my practice and the way I engage with my clients. Her brilliance lies in bridging expansive, conceptual thinking with a profound sensitivity to the emotional and human dimensions of healing. Her insights consistently help me step outside of linear thinking and into more expansive, creative, and integrated perspectives. Lisa doesn’t just support case conceptualization—she helps reimagine it, offering frameworks that are both clinically sound and deeply human. Lisa is the rare kind of consultant and therapist who doesn’t just shape your work—she helps shape who you are within it. I am endlessly grateful.”
