Couples bring far more than two adult selves into the therapy room. Each partner enters the relationship with an internal system shaped by attachment history, unresolved trauma, generational patterns, survival responses and deeply held energetic templates around love, safety, power, trust and belonging.

Advanced CRM™ with Couples teaches clinicians to attune beneath the presenting conflict to the energetic, attachment-based and neurobiological drivers organizing the relationship. Participants will learn to recognize how wounded, protective and perpetrator self-states, survival terror, shame, grief and attachment paradoxes can become activated between partners and expressed through pursuit, withdrawal, criticism, appeasement, shutdown, control or disconnection.

Using CRM conceptualization and scaffolded resourcing, the therapist supports each partner in identifying who is present, developing internal attachment and accessing embodiment. From that foundation, the therapist facilitates attunement between partners—helping them remain present enough to see, hear and feel one another without collapsing into the original wound or reenacting the protective pattern.

The relationship itself becomes a context for re-membering secure attachment, triggers to attachment, working through the fear and pain that connection can activate, and creating new experiences of being together without self-abandonment. The goal is not simply better communication, but greater co-consciousness, responsibility, freedom of choice and the capacity to live in Right Relationship with self and with one another.

Prerequisites: Level 1 The Foundations of CRM™ Training (formerly titled CRM™ Basic Training).

Requirements: CRM™ Trainings are intended exclusively for professionals who are trained, licensed mental health professionals (i.e., counselors, psychotherapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, community psychiatric nurses, etc.). By signing up for the training, you will confirm that this applies to you. If you are currently a student and interested in attending a CRM™ training, you are welcome to join us upon receiving your license to practice; however, no active students are qualified to attend a CRM™ training. You must participate in all aspects of training, including practice time, and be present throughout the entire training to qualify as having completed the course.

Cancellations & Refunds: 60+ days: Full refund minus $50 fee. 30–59 days: 50% refund minus $50 fee. <30 days: No refunds. No-shows are not eligible for refunds
Transfers: You may transfer to the same or another training of equal value. Valid for one training within 12 months.
Substitutions: You may send another eligible participant at no cost (7+ days notice required).
Date Changes: If we reschedule and you can’t attend, you may receive the recording or transfer to a future training
No Retroactive Exceptions: No refunds, credits, or transfers after the training begins.
